Zahid Khan warns about ‘conspiracy’ against 18th Amendment

ISLAMABAD: Awami National Party’s (ANP) Senator Zahid Khan on Wednesday warned the parliament against a ‘conspiracy against the 18th Amendment,” as the joint session of Pakistan’s parliament met at the Parliament House in Islamabad, ARY News reported.

Speaking at the floor of the parliament, Zahid Khan said that a conspiracy is being hatched against the 18th Amendment of the constitution.

PTI MPs entered in the Parliament during the speech of Senator Zahid Khan.

He said the opposition wants the government to act democratically. He said the tradition of ousting an elected government by a crowd of a few thousand must never be allowed.

Zahid Khan addressing the PTI members said that he will try to convince them that they need to come to the House and express their grievances.

He said the parliament is standing with the prime minister but he should respect the parliament.
