Zaka Ashraf announces to review recent PCB appointments
LAHORE: The reinstated chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Zaka Ashraf arrived at the PCB headquarters in Lahore to take charge on Monday, ARY News reported.
On occasion, Zaka Ashraf said he doesn’t want to defame anyone adding that his restoration is answer for those who entered in PCB illegally.
“I always respected the court decision, and even if it was against me I could have accepted that as well", he added.
Speaking about Big Three, the chairman said Najam Sethi has already signed the proposal but he will take another review of it.
Reinstating the Zaka Ashraf as PCB chairman for the second time this year,Islamabad High Court (IHC) annulled the committee headed by Najam Sethi and all the decisions taken by it.
The development is likely to impact the national team significantly because their head coach Waqar Younis, team manager and chief selector Moin Khan, and other staff were appointed during Sethi's most recent tenure as PCB chairman.
When inquired about these development, Zaka Ashraf said the court has nullified the recent appointment of notorious cricketers but he will review all these decisions.
