Zarb-e-Azb: More than 330 militants killed, 19 surrendered till date
MIR ALI: More than 330 terrorists have been killed in the ongoing ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ millitary operation in North Waziristan, ARY News reported.
In a bid to wipe out terrorism from the country, the operation has been proceeding at rapid pace. Up till now 19 terrorists have surrendered so far and there are reports that more terrorists may lay down arms.
According to ISPR, PAF Jet aircrafts destroyed 6 confirmed terrorists’ hideouts on the outskirts of Mirali killing 11 Terrorists.
It stated that TTP commander of Miranshah, Commander Umer has been killed by security forces on the outskirts of Miranshah. Meanwhile, one prominent Al-Qaeda commander has been arrested while trying to flee from surrounded area in NWA. Initial interrogation shows him as an explosive, IED, suicide belt expert.
As per stats revealed by ISPR, more than 330 militants have been killed during the operation, 19 surrendered while 10 security personnel were martyred and seven injured.
