PESHAWAR: Political administration of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) has announced that Mir Ali Tehsil and Miranshah Bazaar should be evacuated today in order of the military’s ground offensive to be launched in the tribal areas, ARY News reports.
According to sources, the authorities will soften the curfew restrictions in all tehsils of North Waziristan so that thousands of people can migrate to safer places.
Approximately 400,000 people have migrated to many different cities adjacent to the tribal regions including Bannu.
On the other hand, World Health Organization (WHO) have expressed concern that polio might spread from the people arriving from North Waziristan and will be a good time for the children to be immunized from the virus.
