Zardari, Bilawal meet Bohra Jamaat spiritual leader

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party chairmen Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday visited the residence the spiritual leader of the Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat His Holiness Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin.

The spiritual leader arrived in Karachi last month and addressed to address the annual Muharram Majlis in Karachi. The congregation was attended by 70,000 followers including a large number from foreign countries.

Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Senator Saleem Mandviwalla also accompanied the PPP leadership. They discussed a range of mutual and religious issues.

Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin said that Sindh is the land of Sufi saints, and he considers it as his home. He thanked the Sindh government for the exemplary security arrangements during their recent congregation.

Zardari welcomed him for his visit to Sindh, which is known for its hospitality, love and affection and Sufi principles. Bilawal said that he was pleased that a spiritual leader has visited Sindh.

Chief Minister Sindh said that they made full efforts to cooperate with them while hospitality was part of their culture.
