Zardari calls on PPP workers to strengthen Bilawal’s efforts
LAHORE: President Pakistan Peoples co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has instructed party office bearers and workers to support and strengthen Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s efforts to win the next elections.
The former president while speaking to a delegation of the party’s officer bearers from Sargodha, said that the PPP will form the next government in the centre and provinces.
The delegation included Tasnim Ahmed Qureshi, Malik Khalid Awan, Malik Rizwan Asif, Malik Khalid Dad, Naeem Sadiq, Sajjad Khan Baloch and Malik Anwer Baloch.
Former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf was also present at this occasion.
Zardari said that the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) government has destroyed the country’s economy and thousands of Pakistanis had to return home from abroad due to failed foreign policy.
He said that accountability should be held across the board and there should be one law applied to everyone.
“Sharif family should be treated like PPP is treated and PPP will not accept VIP accountability of Sharif family,” he said.
He said that provinces are receiving the wrong message by the way accountability of the Sharif family is being held. .
He said that people get relief whenever PPP is in power and suffers as it is pro-people whereas others have agenda against the welfare of the people.
He claimed that the PPP will form next government and will again provide relief to the people who are burdened by the price hike and unemployment.
