HYDERABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader, Syed Naveed Qamar has said that co-Chairman of PPP, Asif Ali Zardari has faced the court for 9 years and still he is ready to appear before the courts, but on the other hand a commando is reluctant to present himself in front of the court, which is casting a negative impact – ARY News reports.
Talking to media at the residence of Senator Mola Baksh Chandio on Wednesday, Naveed Qamar stated that Pervez Musharraf's statement that the military is with him is not in favor of him too. He suggested the former President to keep himself aside.
He added that the national institutions should be privatized on merit and it must not be aimed at facilitating friends.
Speaking about Local Body (LB) elections, the PPP leader told that it is in favor of every democratic government to hold these elections and all the political parties are also demanding the same, however only 10 days of period given could come up to the same result which we are witnessing today.
He added that 90 days of time limit is given prior to the general elections in the country.
Commenting on terrorism in the state, Qamar told that it seems difficult to find a way out through talks with militants and its solution appears to be the use of force, for which the military requires complete support of the people.
