Zia ur Rahman, son of Mufti Muneeb ur Rahman laid to rest
KARACHI: Zia ur Rahman, son of Chairman of Roiyat e Hilal Committee, Mufti Muneeb ur Rahman, who lost his fight against cancer, was laid to rest in Sakhi Hassan graveyard of Karachi earlier today – ARY News reports.
Mufti Muneeb ur Rahman offered the funeral prayer of his son, which was attended by Haji Abdul Rauf of ARY Network, former Ameer of Jamat e Islami (JI), Syed Munawwar Hassan, Chief of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST), Sarwat Aijaz Qadri, MQM leaders, Abdul Hafeez and Khalid bin Wilayat, Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) leader, Tariq Mehboob and numerous other political, religious figures and scores of citizens.
Zia ur Rahman, aged 36, was the only son of Mufti Muneeb ur Rahman. He was fighting against cancer.
His soyem will be held on Friday, at Masjid e Aqsa, Block-15, Federal B. Area of the city.
