Zulfiqar Mirza is to appear in the Sindh High Court (SHC) for the hearing of his case. His protective bail will also end today.
Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies have surrounded the Mirza’s farmhouse in Badin.
His wife Fehmida Mirza, former National Assembly speaker, said that her husband will not be able to appear in the hearing if the situation remains the same.
Cases were filed against the PPP leader after he and his supporters ransacked a police station after the authorities arrested one of his closest aides.
