According to Police, three pressure cookers filled with explosives were recovered, from a government school in Shabqadar area of Charsadda district, which were connected to remote control devices.
Five hand grenades, 10 rocket launchers, four detonators were also taken into custody.
Security sources have said that the ceased explosives could have caused a major terror incident in the country.
The law enforcing agencies have launched the investigation of the possible suspects.
