According to details, police nabbed four extortionists and a target killer from Rizvia Society area of Liaquatabad town of Karachi. One of the extortionists turned out to be a fellow policeman.
Police sources claim that the cop had demanded extortion amounting to 500, 000 rupees after kidnapping a citizen.
About the target killer, police claimed that the criminal was involved in the murder of seven people including a police officer.
Police also claimed to arrest two dacoits from Zaman Town in Korangi.
Five people involved in street crimes were also nabbed from North Karachi Industrial area and Khawaja Ajmer Nagri.

Two dead bodies were found from Gulshan-e-Maymar area. Police claimed that both were killed in a gun attack.
A man was injured in a firing incident in Surjani Town
A dacoit was killed in an alleged police encounter in Quaidabad area.
