Farhan Akhtar sings a duet with Priyanka Chopra

While talking to media the actor-filmmaker-singer confirmed that he has sung a duet song with Priyanka Chopra in their upcoming flick ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ is a multi-starrer film that has Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Ranvir Singh and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film is being directed by Farhan’s sister Zoya Akhtar while Farhan is co-producing it with his partner Ritesh Sidhwani.

The song that is called “smoldering smoky love ballad steeped in nostalgia and longing” according the sources is Farhan-Priyanka’s first duet of their career. The song has also been filmed on the duo as they don’t like to give their voice to other singers.

Farhan Akhtar has earlier sung three solo songs in his movies ‘Rock On’, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and ‘Shadi ke Side Effects’. On the other hand Priyanka Chopra emerged as a singing sensation and earned international recognition in 2012 by her first song ‘In My City’.
‘Dil Dhdakne Do’ is slated to release on 5^th June 2015.
