Fashion designer Deepak Perwani joins MQM-P

KARACHI: Famous fashion designer Deepak Perwani along with several prominent personalities on Sunday joined the Mutahida Quami Movement (MQM-P).

Addressing a press conference, MQM-P chief Farooq Sattar said that retired bureaucrat Javed Hanif, businessman Khurram Rasool, Alamgir Feroz, Imtiaz M Ali, Taufeeq Kochin, Nazia Ali, Farooq Dehdi, and former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf member Saman Laiq Abbasi and other have joined the party.

Sattar said the people have appreciated the changes brought to the party and their workers are spreading their message to invite people from across the province.

He said they will soon write to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and Speaker National Assembly to unseat those parliamentarians who have switched loyalties and have left their party.

He urged the Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) to act responsibly and demand resignation from those parliamentarians who have joined them to hold by-elections for which the MQM-P is ready.

Farooq Sattar thanked those who joined the party looking at their services and respect for the nation. They will allocated party positions according to code of conduct soon.
