Fawad Khan to host IIFA Rocks 2016

The ticketing website for the mega Bollywood event, Ticketea has confirmed the Pakistani heartthrob would be sharing the stage of IIFA Rocks with his mentor, Indian producer Karan Johar in Madrid on June 24.

“IIFA Weekend will stage the IIFA Rocks show that will have performances by Pritam, Meet Brothers, Parineeti Chopra, Kanika Kapoor, Benny Dayal and many more. The show will be hosted by Karan Johar and Fawad Khan,” revealed the Ticketea website.

Part of the IIFA weekend, IIFA Rocks is a pre-award show and would showcase power-packed performances by leading Indian celebs and performers. The event is all set to be a magical and star-studded night, to be remembered by the Indian cinema lovers for years to come.

The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend and Awards is a celebration of the Indian cinema held every year at various global destinations. Although the main event of this year’s IIFA is said to be hosted by Indian stars Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar, Fawad Khan’s addition as a host would be the highlight of the event.
