Fazl meets PM Nawaz, discusses overall situation of state

ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUIF) Chief, Molana Fazlur Rahman met the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif earlier today here at the PM House, both the leaders exchanged views on overall situation of the country and bilateral terms with India – ARY News reports.

 

The JUIF Chief informed the Prime Minister about his departure on a visit to India. He told that he will be visiting India for a week, while the Prime Minister elaborated the details of his meeting with his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh in New York.

 

Both the leaders discussed the solution to Kashmir Issue and the possibilities of advancements in bilateral ties with India. They also agreed upon bringing reforms in some laws pertaining to the prevention of sectarianism.

 

PM Nawaz told Molana Fazlur Rahman that legislation will be based on the documents approved by all the schools of thought through a mutual consensus.

 

During the meet, both the leaders also agreed upon advancing the peace-process with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) after due consultation with the political leadership as well as other institutions of the state.
