QUETTA: Chief of Jamiat-e-Ulema (Fazl) Maulana Fazlur Rehman said the terrorists’ attack on Karachi airport was a failure of security forces, ARY News reported Friday.
Talking to media at Quetta airport today, he regretted the terrorist attack at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi. The JUI-F chief referred to KP and said drone attacks were not being carried out without permission of local people, hence leading to their resentment.
Fazl said all political parties must set aside differences and unite for strengthen democracy.
It may be noted here that around 10 heavily armed terrorists had launched attack on Karachi airport on last Sunday night (June 8) and killed around 30 people including officials of civil aviation, Airport Security Force, PIA and other security personnel. Later, in retaliation all 10 terrorists were gunned down.
At least four aircrafts were damaged in the attack. The attackers had also worn suicide vests.
