ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a meeting of the federal cabinet on Thursday (tomorrow) to discuss an 11-point agenda including ongoing talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
According to details, the cabinet members will be taken on-board regarding the talks, currently taking place between the government and IMF for a possible bailout package.
The ministers will also present their progress report on the government’s 100-day plan and the PM will also be briefed on the performance of various task forces.
The accord of exchange of sentenced criminals with Azerbaijan is expected to get an extension during the session.
Other proposals which are likely to get approval in the meeting include, extension in aerial work license of VIP flights, import of forbidden automobile items from Kabul
The session will further review the MoU of cooperation between Pak Afghan national disaster management departments and revised budget of national telecommunication authority.
The additional charges of the managing director of Pakistan Tourism Development Corp (PTDC) will also be deliberated at the Prime Minister House tomorrow.
A day earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders from Sindh and discussed various issues related to the province.
Addressing the audience attended by senior PTI leaders, PM Khan said he took up the reins of the government in a difficult time, adding “the Tabdeeli (change) will be visible in a few months,” he added.
He directed his party leaders and members of the assembly to play their role in resolution of problems faced by the public.
