Novak Djokovic defeated Argentine Juan Martin del Petro 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in a tough competition. The Serb provided powerful forehands to seal the victory.
Former World No. 1, Roger Federer defeated French opponent Richard Gasquet 6-4, 6-3 to keep his semi-final hopes alive in the tournament.
Federer has to defeat Del Potro in the next match to qualify for the top-four spots in the tournament.
