Federer, Djokovic record wins at ATP World Tour Finals


LONDON: Novak Djokovic of Serbia and Roger Federer of Switzerland won their matches in the ATP World Tour Finals here on Thursday, ARY News reports.

Novak Djokovic defeated Argentine Juan Martin del Petro 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in a tough competition. The Serb provided powerful forehands to seal the victory.

Former World No. 1, Roger Federer defeated French opponent Richard Gasquet 6-4, 6-3 to keep his semi-final hopes alive in the tournament.

Federer has to defeat Del Potro in the next match to qualify for the top-four spots in the tournament.
