The petition was filed by FIA Director Khalid Qureshi through his lawyer Ejaz Chaudhry in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
It was stated in the petition that Lakhvi has been booked under Passport and Foreign Acts.
The petitioner has pleaded to the court to declare Lakhvi’s release as void.
It should be noted that the prime suspect of the Mumbai attacks was released on bail by Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) recently. Lakhvi is also facing a kidnapping case in Pakistan.
