ISLAMABAD: FIA has demanded details of the assets of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri, ARY News reported on Thursday.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has started inquiry into the assets of PAT and Dr. Tahirul Qadri.
FIA has written a letter to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) seeking details of the assets of Qadri and PAT.
The letter also seeks details of registration of PAT, the party’s constitution and assets. The FIA also sought details of Tahirul Qadri which he submitted to the ECP during filing his nomination papers.
According to sources, the FIA has also demanded details of the bank accounts and taxes.
