ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued an advertisement urging masses to provide information of the elements posting blasphemous content on social media websites, ARY News reported.

In the advertisement, the investigation agency has urged the masses to provide information of the culprits posting blasphemous content on social media.

The information should be provided to FIA’s Cyber Crime Cell, the investigation agency stated.

It should be noted that Islamabad High Court had remarked that blasphemy is the biggest issue of the country.

Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui had said on Thursday that the prime minister may be summoned if no action taken against the offenders.

The court earlier ordered the Interior Ministry to include the names of all those people who upload blasphemous content on social media websites in the Exit Control List (ECL).

Justice Aziz had also remarked in the case hearing that the whole judiciary is united on the matter but the Parliament is still silent.
