FIA official cross-examined in Article-VI Case against Musharraf

Musharraf’s counsel Farogh Naseem, cross-examined deputy director FIA Khalid Rasool, who had recorded his statement in the last hearing of the case.

The defence counsel asked the witness about the FIA Circle or the police station where FIR of the case against Pervez Musharraf was registered. The Deputy director FIA said that he was unaware about it.

Prosecutor Akram Shaikh intervened and explained that it was a complaint and not a criminal case.

The defence counsel after completion of cross-examination pleaded to the court for holding next hearing on August 16 due to August 14 long march in Islamabad. Otherwise, the hearing should be transferred to Karachi, Naseem requested the court.

The court adjourned the hearing till Wednesday (tomorrow) and said that the bench will consider the defence plea tomorrow.
