Finance Minister approves FBR's proposal on expanding the tax net

ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar considered Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) proposal on expanding the tax net and directed the officials to further fine-tune these proposals, ARY News reported on Tuesday.

While chairing a meeting at the finance ministry on Monday, Ishaq Dar reviewed the budget proposals.

He underlined that they had to work with whole dedication for the uplift of country adding that the taxpayers should be facilitated by simplifying tax procedures.

Briefing Finance Minister Senator Shaq Dar at a review budget proposals meeting chairman FBR said all budget proposals in this regard would be considered with a view to enhance tax base and government income.
