Pakistan won the toss and opted to field first in the match.

Sri Lanka scored 255/8 runs in their 50 overs with Dinesh Chandimal being the top scorer for the side.

Pakistan, chasing 256 runs to win, reached the target in 45.2 overs with Mohammad Hafeez scoring a century.

Hafeez made 103 runs from 95 balls with the help of 10 boundaries and four sixes.

Shoaib Malik also made 55 runs from 45 balls which included four boundaries and two sixes.

Ahmed Shehzad scored 29 runs, Azhar Ali made 21 runs while Mohammad Rizwan made 20 runs for the team.

Suranga Lakmal, Thisara Parera, Angelo Mathews and Tillakaratne Dilshan took one wicket each.
