SHEIKHUPURA: At least five persons were killed and one injured in a car-trailer collision on the outskirts of Sheikhupura district in the early hours of Friday morning, ARY News reported.
According to police and rescue sources, a speeding car rammed into a trailer near Sheikhupura Interchange leaving five persons dead on the spot and one critically injured.
The deceased have been identified as Muhamamd Aijaz, Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Naveed, Abdullah, and Waseem. One injured, Moon, was rushed to Lahore for medical treatment owing to his precarious condition.
Rescue sources said all the victims were natives of Sarghoda and were travelling to Lahore for Eid shopping.
