Sindh Rangers in a major achievement in the fighting against militants in Karachi killed five terrorists in an encounter in the city’s coastal area of Keamari early Wednesday morning.
Two Rangers personnel were also injured when grenades hurled at the law enforcers as they conducted raid in Keamari after they were informed about the presence of the terrorists in the neighborhood.
The slain terrorists have been identified as Umar, Anas, Abdul Rauf, Javed and Talha, Rangers sources said. They were the members of Ilyas Kashmiri group of militants.
