FO rebuts allegations of Indian soldiers' killing by Pakistani troops

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office (FO) of Pakistan has rebutted the allegations of the killing of Indian soldiers by Pakistani troops, while the decision will be made about the participation of Pakistan Cricket Team in T-20 World Cup in Bangladesh after reviewing the circumstances – ARY News reports.

During the weekly press briefing, FO Spokesperson Tasneem Aslam labeled the allegations framed by India on Pakistan Army as entirely baseless. She told that a joint investigation team was also formed in this regard, while Pakistan had also offered to get the incidents investigated by a third party, however the Indian authorities turned down the suggestion.

Pakistan Army is not involved in any such act, mentioned the Spokesperson.

Speaking on Government of Pakistan's talks with Taliban here, she clarified that Saudi Arabia has no role in the ongoing peace process with Taliban, Pakistan is tightening its laws, so that the terrorists could not be funded externally.

Commenting on T-20 World Cup in March this year, Tasneem said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not yet formally consulted the Foreign Office, however 2 months are still to go and the security of the national team will review the security conditions, prior to the event.

She added that the decision of sending the cricket team to Bangladesh will be made on then security conditions.
