Foreign direct Investments Increased by 41.9 percent

Islamabad: During the first quarter of current fiscal year 2013-14 from July to September foreign direct investment FDI has been increased by 41.9 percent, ARY News reported.

According to reports released by State bank of Pakistan SBP from July to September 2013 foreign investments were recorded at 338.6 million dollars, whereas, in the previous fiscal year’s same time period it was recorded at 238.7 million dollars.

According to officials, due to government’s effective policies and promotion for investments in the country foreign investments are increasing. From the private sector of foreign countries in first quarter 22.1 percent increase was recorded in foreign investments. According to facts and figures more foreign direct investments were recorded by Britain, Norway, Germany comparing to their previous year’s investments.
