The spokesperson of the FC Baluchistan told that a search operation against miscreants was underway in Mangochar – a difficult-to-access area of Qalat – that the armed miscreants ambushed the security personnel.
Due to the exchange of fire from both sides four militants were killed, while FC personnel also recovered a huge cache of automatic arms from their possession.
During the search, FC troops seized 150 rockets, 1500 detonators and 5 kg explosive material, which were later disposed off.
A chopper of the Ministry of Interior also assisted the troops during the operation.
While hailing the personnel for conducting a successful search operation, IG FC Major General Sher Afgan said that the militants will be chased till the end and everywhere and that restoring law and order in the province is top priority of security forces.
