Four more ministers inducted into federal cabinet

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to expand the federal cabinet with induction of four more ministers.

According to the prime minister’s spokesperson, Omar Ayub Khan will be the minister for energy, Ali Zaidi minister for maritime affairs and Muhammad Mian Soomro minister for investment.

Murad Saeed has also been inducted into the cabinet but his portfolio will be announced later.

Shehryar Khan Afridi was a week ago appointed as the minister of state on matters coming under the ambit of the Interior Ministry.

With inclusion of these five ministers, the number of federal cabinet members will climb to 25.

The other 20 federal cabinet members include 15 ministers and five advisers to the premier.
