Four terrorists convicted by military courts hanged to death

RAWALPINDI: Four terrorists convicted by military courts hanged to death on Tuesday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

According to the statement, these terrorists were involved in “committing heinous offences related to terrorism, including killing of innocent civilians, attacking armed forces of Pakistan and the law enforcement agencies.”

Those executed for their crimes included Rehman Uddin, Mushtaq Khan s/o Umar Saleem, Ubaidur Rehman s/o Fazal Hadi and Zafar Iqbal s/o Mohammad Khan.

The convicts were involved in terrorism, killings and damaging public and private properties, the ISPR said.

These terrorists were tried in military courts and they admitted to offences before a magistrate and the trial court, the statement said.

The military courts awarded them death sentence and the convicts were hanged to death today, the statement added.
