According to the MQM spokesperson, Nabeel Gabol was unable to spare time for resolving public issues in his constituency in Karachi, due to his domestic engagements.
“This is why the party suggested him to step down from his NA membership”, said the spokesperson.
Earlier in the day, MQM leader Nabeel Gabol had tendered his resignation to the Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
In his multiple talks with media after the resignation, Gabol hinted at taking a ‘big political move’. He also said that he will soon hold a press conference in Islamabad to elaborate plans about his future in politics.
