RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qammar Javed Bajwa on Sunday said that the writ of the nation has been restored and Pakistan is progressing towards peace and stability.
The COAS during to Tirah Valley in Khyber expressed satisfaction over effective border security arrangements which have controlled cross border movement of terrorists.
He was brief about operational preparedness and improved border security measures including the formation the newly raised Frontier Constabulary KP Wings.
“Writ of the nation has been restored and we are progressing towards peace and stability,” said the Army Chief.
Gen Bajwa spent the day with troops deployed along the Afghan border, and hailed the exceptionally high morale of the troops and their undaunted determination to eliminate terrorism.
He said the nations supports the troops due to their innumerable sacrifices made for the defence and security of their motherland.
