General Elections 2013 were pre-planned, claims Gillani

SULTAN PUR: Former Prime Minister, Yousuf Raza Gillani has said that General (R) Pervez Musharraf detained the honorable judges, imposed emergency in the state and applied restrictions on the media – ARY News reports.

Addressing a public gathering here on Tuesday, Gillani said that when he led the protest against the restrictions imposed by the former dictator, then he was also imprisoned.

He added that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) besides all the troubles ran democracy for 5 years.

Speaking about General Elections 2013, the ex-PM claimed that the polls were pre-planned and if he were the PM then, the results would have been different from what they are.
