QUETTA: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif reached in Quetta on Tuesday after a deadly terrorist attack on a police training centre in the southwestern city of Pakistan, ARY News reported.
General Raheel reached the police training centre after his arrival in Quetta. The Army Chief will be briefed about deadly terrorist attack in which at least 60 police cadets were killed and several dozen others were injured.
According to radio Pakistan Director General ISI and the Director General Military Intelligence have also been accompanied with General Raheel Sharif.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also expected to reach Quetta after a major terrorist attack in the city.
Heavily-armed militants wearing suicide vests stormed a police academy in Quetta, killing at least 60 people and wounding dozens more, rescue officials said Tuesday. The incident is one of the deadliest terrorist attacks this year.
