Ghouri serves defamation notice on Imran Ismail

Ismail is also contesting by-polls in National Assembly constituency (NA-246) on PTI ticket. The by-elections are due to be held on April 23.
MQM’s Babar Ghouri has served defamation notice on Imran Ismail and demanded compensation of Rs 1 billion.
He termed the ‘tirade’ of Ismail as false and defamatory. The PTI leader, in its election rally in Karachi on Sunday, had subjected MQM to criticism and said Babar Ghouri encroached government land and constructed wedding halls on it.
The MQM leader said he would contest his case in a court against Ismail.
