ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Wednesday said that the government mulling over ban on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, ARY News reported.
Pakistan’s defence minister said, ” What happened on May 09 was not spontaneous, but it was planned”.
“It was the final ploy of Imran Khan against the armed forces,” he said. “Those attacked the Corps Commander’s House and the GHQ had abominable designs,” he claimed.
“Imposing ban over the PTI has been under consideration. It will be a joint decision,” he said. “If this decision taken the matter will be brought to the parliament,” federal minister said.
Khawaja Asif said that several incidents took place in the past, but no party attacked defence installations. They committed several crimes, the ISI office was attacked, four people died in firing in Gujranwala, he said.
“What took place on May 09, was happened under a planning,” he said. “Irreverence to the memorial of martyred Captain Karnal Sher Khan was a sacrilege, it could be committed by India but not Pakistan,” defence minister said. “It was the final ploy of Imran Khan against the armed forces,” he said.
