Govt soon to announce cut in power tariff: PM House Spokesperson

According to details, Musaddiq Malik welcomed Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s positive response to government’s offer for talks; however he cleared that the talks will be ‘unconditional’. He added that the negotiations process will strengthen democracy in the state.

Speaking about Operation Zarb-e-Azb, he said that it is advancing successfully and has entered into a final phase, and soon the process of rehabilitation of the IDPs will be initiated.

The Spokesperson of the PM House vowed that the government will provide better facilities to the operation-affectees, a comprehensive program will be devised for initiating development projects in tribal areas, while the natives returning to their homes will be given complete security.

He also declared Supreme Court’s verdict pertaining to the PM’s disqualification case as the ‘triumph of truth’.

Moreover, he told that the government will soon announce a cut in the power tariff.
