Govt to lodge FIR in Imran Farooq murder case, says Nisar

Chaudhry Nisar, speaking at a news conference in Islamabad, said that the federal government helped the joint investigation team in London, probing the murder, as Farooq was a Pakistani national.

The information minister also said that the registration deadline for the International NGOs has been extended upto a month.

He added that those INGOs, who have not registered by the deadline, have to stop working in the country.

“By extending the registration deadline, we want to send a message that the country is willing to work with the organizations that are ready to function according to Pakistani laws”, he added.

Nisar also said that 129 INGOs have applied for registration and the verification process has started.

He also condemned the terrorist attack in Karachi which left two military police officials dead.

Nisar added that Pakistanis are being deported from different countries on suspicions of terror links.
