Gujranwala police kill a terrorist, another escapes

According to details, two terrorists broke into Gujranwala mini-stadium on Wednesday, however they were confronted by police.

An exchange of fire took place between both the sides which led to the killing of the terrorists, but the other managed to escape the scene.

Police recovered a suicide vest and other weapons from the deceased terrorist.

CCPO Gujranwala told ARY News that it was a tough encounter and that the terrorist also tried to blow him up, but failed due to timely action by cops.

The bomb disposal squad (BDS) officials told that the terrorist carried five kg explosive in his suicide vest, which could cause enough destruction.

The CCPO told that police teams are searching the other terrorist who had managed to flee.
