Hamilton Test: WI crumble, set target of 122 runs

HAMILTON: New Zealand have been set a target of 122 runs by West Indies on the third day of the third test match as the visitors lost all of their 10 wickets after scoring 103 runs in the second innings here on Saturday, ARY News reports.

West Indies spinner Sunil Narine took six wickets as the hosts were all out 349 runs.

Ross Taylor was the highest scorer in the innings for the Kiwis with 131 runs to his name followed by Kane Williamson's knock of 58 runs.

West Indies were dismissed for 367 runs in the first innings.

Coming to the crease with a lead of 16 runs, the West Indies batsmen failed to provide solid performances in the innings and the entire side was back in the pavilion on 103 runs.

Trent Boult took 4 wickets in the innings whereas Tim Southee took 3 wickets in the innings. Neil Wagner grabbed 2 wickets and Corey Anderson dismissed one batsman.

The Kiwi batsmen were at 6/0 at stumps on day three with Peter Fulton and Hamish Rutherford at the crease. They require further 116 runs with all of their wickets in hand.
