Hashmi to watch PSL 2017 final in Lahore

ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has purchased the ticket of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 final which will contested at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday, ARY News reported.

Speaking on the occasion, Hashmi said that he will support the players playing in the two teams.

“I am not a supporter of any team. I am with all the teams and players taking part in the cricketing league,” Hashmi said.

He said that organizing the PSL 2017 final at Lahore will be a big step in the return of international cricket in Pakistan.

It should be noted that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has invited Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to watch the PSL 2017 final as well.

Awami Muslim League (AML) President Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed succeeded in acquiring a general public ticket for the event and said that he will sit in the crowd in Gaddafi stadium during the tournament’s final.

On the other hand, PTI chief Imran Khan had earlier said that the decision of holding PSL 2017 final in Lahore was nothing but plain madness.
