HAVELIAN: At least five people died while 18 others injured in a multi-vehicle collision involved six vehicles at Karakoram Highway in the wee hours of Saturday, ARY News reported.
The causes of hapless road crash could not be established.
Rescue agencies reached spot and shifted all injured to Rural Health Centre Havelian and Ayub Medical Complex where 12 minor injured were shortly discharged after getting medical assistance while six others were said to be in a critical condition.
The accident at Abbotabad-Havelian Modh (turn) caused massive traffic jam at the crucial highway leading to China.
According to eye witnesses’ account, a Toyota Hiace, two trailers, and three cars collided with each other on Saturday morning resulting in five causalities on the spot while injuring 18 others.
However, the cause of the massive collision could not be ascertained so far.
