Pakistan Cricket Board trolls ICC over trophy taunt

The International Cricket Council (ICC) recently trolled the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) over a ‘biscuit trophy’ crafted for Pakistan-Australia T20 series, but the PCB chose to counter the jibe in style!

Within hours after unveiling, the trophy of the T20 series was the talking point on social media. The trophy has three stumps with a ball at the base and a biscuit on top!

The picture of Australian skipper Aaron Finch and Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed holding the trophy created a quick buzz on Twitter with one of the fans saying, “Call off the competition – sport has its greatest ever trophy.” Several other users on social media had a hearty laugh over the new trophy.

The ICC chipped in the social debate and wrote while sharing the trophy picture along with the one on Champions Trophy that Pak won: “You vs the trophy she told you not to worry about.”

 

The taunting tweet by the ICC drew over 9,000 retweets on Twitter. But it proved a lull before a equally amazing retort from the PCB when it responded to the ICC saying: “Dear ICC, who cares? Both are ours :p”———————————————————-
