Hollywood actress Lohan loses half her finger in boating accident

TEXAS: Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan has been in the news of late and not for good reasons at all. But the actress met a terrible fate in a boating accident and lost ‘half of her finger’.

After the accident, the 30-year-old actress shared a video of her heavily bandaged finger on Snapchat and expressed relief at finding the other part of her finger. She also explained she immediately had surgery on the injury.
The TMZ reported that Lohan tried to pull up the anchor and became entangled in it while on holiday on a boat in Turkey. After the anchor was pulled down into the water, Lohan struggled to get back in the boat as she attempted to disentangle herself.
Her friends then reportedly found the detached finger on the deck of the boat and she was rushed to an Emergency Services room where a plastic surgeon reattached it.
After the accident, Lohan posted a video of a her injured finger on Snapchat. She captioned the image: ”I almost lost my finger from the anchor. Well, I lost half my finger, thank goodness we found the piece of my finger … I just had surgery to fix it.”
Lohan also posted an image of the injury on Instagram but later deleted it. She has now posted an image of herself captioned “One handed selfie”.
“This is why I shouldn’t try to help get the rope to anchor the boat. I lost half of my finger.…,” the actress also tweeted.
Fans have wished Lohan a speedy recovery. “Praying for Lindsay Lohan’s finger,” said one. Another said: “Good you’re taking it with good humour”.

While it is not clear exactly where the boating incident occurred.
She was recently in the news for allegedly selling her engagement ring following allegations that her fiancé Egor Tarabasov cheated on her and was physically abusive.
This comes after the Russian millionaire was reportedly seen moving out of Lindsay’s London apartment.
Lindsay Lohan was given £220,000 sparker from her ex fiance Egor, reported the Sun.
The website cited its sources close to Egor saying: “That’s her severance package. When she runs out of money, she can sell it on 47th Street for $60,000.”
Later Lohan’s friend was quoted saying, “After moving to London and meeting Egor, Lindsay felt like she’d finally moved on from the chaos of her youth.
She was really ready to settle down and start a family. Sadly, for her, she is losing much more than just a boyfriend.”
Lindsay had also taken to Instagram to speak about the recent events in her life.
