Hollywood actress Alicia Silverstone stunned after finding her face on Pakistani mehndi pack

‘Batman & Robin’ actress Alicia Silverstone was apparently amused after finding her face on a Pakistani mehndi pack and shared the ad picture on her official Facebook page, urging her followers to help her understand the ad tagline.

The Hollywood actress, however, couldn’t get the hang of what actually was inscribed on the pack. She captioned the picture:

“Someone sent this to me… What language is this?? Pretty funny!”

 

Mehndi is the traditional art of painting the hands, feet or body with a paste made from the powdered, dried leaves of the henna.

The Mehndi pack had a line on the front, reading: “Fauri Tez Rang…” (quick fast colour). And obviously the lady was not familiar with Urdu, hence failed to comprehend it.

But, fans, trollers and a few of upright users were quick to chip in to explain the meaning.

One user described it with a picture mehndi-filled hands, writing: “its Urdu and its the cover of a henna product..henna is a substance used to colour and make designs mostly on hands for weddings and festivals etc ..its a cultural thing.”

Another one used his humour to trouble-shoot the context for Alicia: “We’re having a lot of varieties of actors & actresses in this kinda packaging 😂😂
We have shahrukh khan & Salman’s snacks too just in 2rs 😂😂”

 

And one Alicia follower went ahead elaborating the case like an ‘ambassador of truth’. He said: “You would be amazed how many fake beauty products are sold in Pakistan. It is very common to find hair gel and fairness creams in Pakistan with pictures of Hollywood actors.I once saw a talcum powder with photo of jennifer anniston.”

Alicia is an American actress, producer, author and activist.Silverstone made her film debut in The Crush, earning the 1994 MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance.
