TOP NEWS

Addressing the participants of the PTI sit-in camp, Imran Khan claimed that none of the PTI workers had gone even close to the PTV office, yet the government put several of our workers into jail for storming the PTV headquarters in Islamabad.

The PTI chairman also introduced the participants with one such PTI worker, Adeel, who was jailed for 27 days for barging into the PTV office along with several others.

He told that Adeel was standing close to his container when the attack took place, but police accused and kept him detained for nearly a month.

“Those who had arrived to form ‘naya Pakistan’ were thrown into jails by the government” he said, lamenting that a society lacking justice and the rule of law gets devastated.

Khan said that the entire family of PM Nawaz Sharif is busy making more and more money, yet no one heeds on their corruption. He added that there are two kinds of law which go parallel in Pakistan, one for the weak and the other for the influential.

Bashing Maulana Fazlur Rahman, he said, “The JUIF chief has once again called a convention of ulema and scholars and I know he is going to declare me an agent of Jews. To him, I say that there is no need for the Jews to conspire when the people like him, Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif are already here”.

The PTI chairman mocked that the present rulers have broken all the past records of corruption, but instead of them he was declared an absconder today.

He added that not only him, but the government also declared a chief minister [Pervez Khattak], Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Asad Umar, a prominent name of the corporate world who entered into politics to serve the people leaving behind millions of salary, as proclaimed offenders.
