Women's World Cup: India beat Pakistan by 95 runs

DERBY, ENGLAND: India beat Pakistan by 95 runs on Sunday in the ICC Women’s World Cup at Derby.
Batting first after winning the toss, India scored 169 runs for nine in 50 overs.
Nashra Sandhu was pick of the Pakistani bowlers, who bagged four wickets for just 26 runs in ten overs. Sadia Yousuf got two wickets.
Opener Punam Raut was the highest scorer for India with 47, Shusma Verma scored 33, while Deepti Sharma scored 28. Skipper Mithali Raj scored just eight runs.
On the other hand, Pakistani batting line rattled against India scoring 74 runs.
Ekta Bisht ripped apart Pakistan batting with five for 18, while Mansi Joshi took two scalps.
The Indians were confident as they remained undefeated throughout the tournament having beaten hosts England by 35 runs and West Indies by seven wickets.
On the other hand, Pakistan women have lost both matches in the tournament. Pakistan lost to South Africa by three wickets and was later thrashed by England for 107 runs.
India have faced Pakistan seven times and won on all occasions.
