Iftikhar Chaudhry seeks record of contempt case against Imran Khan

Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry seems to be active for filing a defamation lawsuit against the PTI chief, as his lawyers Sheikh Ahsan and Naseer Kayani filed a petition in the SC earlier today, requesting the apex court to provide record of a contempt case against Imran Khan.

Iftikhar Chaudhry had also sent a defamation notice worth of Rs 20 billion to the PTI chairman, a few days ago. He had sent this notice after being alleged of corruption and rigging of polls by Imran Khan.

The PTI chairman was demanded to apologize within 14 days and to pay the compensation, or else he will have to face a lawsuit.

Moreover, the ex-CJ has finalized all the arrangements regarding filing a suit and this petition is part of the same process.
