According to details, nearly fifty cases were registered against khatibs and clerics of various mosques and imambargahs in Islamabad, a few days ago; however none of them was apprehended.
The IG Islamabad Police on Wednesday instructed the concerned station house officers (SHOs) to round up all such clerics.
Sources told that an action plan has been devised in this regard and a crackdown may be kicked off tonight.
